| Lucite | Cast acrylic. An object, coin, document or printed insert can be sealed inside it, which is how most embedment deal toys are made. Lighter than glass to ship. |
| Acrylic glass | Cut and polished acrylic sheet with printed or engraved faces. Suits flat tombstone shapes and larger runs where weight and freight matter. |
| Metal and crystal | Engraved metal plates, emblems or figures set into or onto a crystal body. Used where the deal name changes but the piece stays the same. |
